Fabric and More Fabric

This was the shelves a few weeks ago, and WOW, you should see them now. We are adding fabric, patterns, and batting but here is an even better surprise... We now have some hand made items from a wonderful Amish family from Paoli. They have made the best baskets, soaps, hot pads, and quilts... you just have to stop in to see them. All products are reasonable and useful as well as handmade.

We are also featuring the art work ( abstract paintings ) of Indiana artist Sandy Story-Moon. These paintings are beautiful and fit in with almost any decor. ( I still am a prim buff but I adore her work)

I am finding more and more friends here in Nashville that love quilting, fabric, and who visit the shop regularly. Many of them are members of the Pioneer Women's Club of which I am now a member too. I love the friendly atmosphere and learning skills and techniques from other quilters and crafters so being a member here will be so much fun with the added benefit of sharing tips here on the blog.

Finally, classes will start in August with several great items to make for gifts or for yourself. More on this soon. Until the next time when I squeeze time to blog, happy sewing, quilting, and crafting......
