We are always trying new ideas including patterns, fabrics, and designs. We are also working on our focus for 2014. Here is where you come in. If you have ideas.... shoot me an email and let me know what you want to see.
Here is what I do know.... hours have to change because I still need to work as a nurse. Sorry girls, but real life is this..... need more money to order more fabric to keep more customers happy. Translation= I still have to keep a job and a paycheck, that is until I am published, famous, or hit the lottery which ever comes first. ( I'm thinking God wants me to keep plugging away and working and trusting Him, just saying)
So here is the deal. Winter Hours are now this:
Closed MON, TUE, WED,
OPEN Thurs, Friday, and Saturday from 10:30 to 5:00
Sundays will be by chance or appointment. The truth is we need family time, church time, and time to just plain veg out. We simply do not do enough business on Sundays to be open every single one during the winter.
Here are the newest ideas we are considering.
- Designing patterns for both cottons and wools- Primitive mostly
- I am continuing to write... kids stuff, magazine articles, and longer adult pieces.
- Increasing internet sales and improving the website store.
- Offering clubs....a monthly UFO club, a scrappy club, a woolie club, etc
